If I have understood correctly one of the previous posts, not quite! They arrived at Saunderton 13 minutes later than they should have at High Wycombe, so it will be 13 mins + connection time at Saunderton + travel to Wycombe. So depending on how long that took, possibly delay repay.

Do you know how far it was built out? Had a look on Google maps and I can clearly see how the line is slewed as you describe, but from pictures it doesn't look like the platform was built out, looks like still space to reinstate up fast if they wanted.

It also gets used for a lot of events, often when the 38TS or Sarah Siddons gets released on the line. Also for Steam on the Met, but unsure when the last time that happened now. Walking between the two is mostly fine, if not just a bit of a trek at night.
