I had an interview just under 2 weeks ago, I had an email today

I got the “you didn’t reach the standard” email last week. But today got a start date with another TOC. Good luck luck to everyone on your adventure.

So I was told that all the tests form the national standard. It’s only the extra test that forms the enhanced part, and like you said other TOCs may use something different. But the other tests are the same and pass mark is the same. I’ll post the email I was sent. 1647091652

Yes I know. The OP said he failed as he didn’t reach the enhanced standard on group bourdon, but there’s no such thing.

Sorry to hear you wasn’t successful. Who told you that you didn’t reach enhanced standard on group bourdon? The reason I ask is I passed all tests for another TOC except the DFFT. This is the only part that’s enhanced. This came in an email direct from the OPC.

I’ve got an interview coming up over Skype. Has anyone had theirs yet? And is it like an MMI?

It may be dependent on those that have already passed psychometric testing. It makes business sense to push those through that have already passed said tests.

I think it’s just passage of information to see if you can get the correct answer. I wouldn’t read in to it

It’s quite difficult to judge how you’ve done, especially as the answers aren’t always obvious. But you can only do what you can do.

They changed the wording on the answers, but basically means the same thing. I didn’t have time to answer the last question though

Just had a bash at the practice material in the given 8 minutes. I managed to score 7 out of 9 in 4 minutes. I’ll have a crack at the test later. Good luck everyone

Don’t quote me but I’d say no. The reason being technically someone else could do the test for you. It’s only test at the assessment centre that would count. That’s my opinion anyway

I passed to national standard with a TOC, but I didn’t get an enhanced pass as I didn’t meet the standard for the DFFT. I had feed back from the OPC and they said the following. You only loose a life if you fail any standard tests, so as you’ve only failed DFFT you still have 2 lives.

I’ve not had one yet either, I also passed to national level
