    Yes I totally get that. It’s just on most TOCs they advertise as train driver apprenticeship, the FOC I applied for advertised as trainee driver. I’m happy either way (who wouldn’t be).

    I did mine December last year. It’s on A3 paper. The tester said it’s harder on paper than computer (although I found the paper easier).     How frequent are drug + alcohol tests for drivers?

    It’s not just on the railway. I’m a petrol tanker driver and I’ve been randomly tested 3 times. We are also tested if we have an incident, collision, wrong fuel wrong tank ect.
