Last time I heard there should be 4 trains running on DC line (ah through 3 for definite)
As for the west Anglia lines, I seen someone mentioned earlier of train times for testing but not 100% sure.
Not that I care much about the seat and comfort of any train, but have there been anymore reported runs on the Watford dc line and any news on the testing of coupling of sets for the west Anglia lines?
One thing to keep in mind is if there will be any issues when coupling 8 car or more Aventra sets for SWR's sake on the DC scale of things.
But once again I have full confidence quite a bit of progress has been made when it come to software updates of most functions.
Only thing I remain...
Been hearing talk about it starting next on the DC line. Mostly to iron out the Aventra’s bugs relating to DC traction.
As for West Anglia, that will deffo be later as they also spend time iron out coupling issues (which personally I think shouldn’t take that long.
Always had this feeling...
Now that we have a full 6 train service enforced, will the two extra "peak buster" services also be added in the form of two more 710s, or will they just stick with 6 train in ciculation while starting to replace the 378s to be reconfigered back into 5 car formation?
Finally I’m on it!!!!
Pics are attached and yes totally quality ride, information systems all good, usb sockets, aircon, and WiFi too
Absolutely wonderfully, could be on the Watford and lea valley routes well soon
Did any updates came about recently?
Last I heard was driver familiarization training taking place while instructor training is currently taking place but still the train suffers from some bugs but have been running on the GOBLIN and WCML alot in resent times.
But then again nothing concrete?
Had my first ride yesterday and took the 17:25 (late coming in by 15 mind) to Gordon Hill from Moor gate. Was jam packed with passengers and mostly traveled slow but indeed a very smooth ride and yes bumpy but still a better ride quality then the 313 fossils.
The return journey had to be via...
Think we can only be a bit more patient from this point on wards as the 710s seem to finally have a functioning software (fingers cross) and they can build up enough mileage without another breakdown.
As for the 172s departing before the 710s start that was pretty obvious from the start the way...
