No apologies needed.
Other than when there is a full closure, access will remain via both main entrances regardless of any platform closures.
I believe there is a plan being worked on to keep full access to other platforms on the islands during P5&6 closures. Given these closures are for...
Given that Crewe is over-compliment in anticipation of this work, and that Wolverhampton will also sign at least to Crewe, staffing will not be a problem.
Even less so on Sundays, there is almost never an open turn - unless the drivers pay deal gets pulled of course.
Be interesting to see how...
Taking the path of what service?
Also, 6 is either likely to go back to being unused or being used for the through service Crewe - New St via Stoke & Tame Bridge in December.
Maybe the most viable option is for a lift to be build behind the current staircases. There is plenty of disused platform, and there can be tall barriers erected facing the WCML. It would be best if it allowed entrance from the Chase Line side and exit at 90° (unsure if that's even doable) onto...
It would need a whole new station developing. If there was a simple solution it would have been in plans by now under accessibility rules (See Kidsgrove for similar numbers).
Crewe is not classed as a maintenance depot for class 730. It's only classed as a stabling point. Which is frustrating as this allows 730s to enter service at Crewe without working toilets, as happens from time to time, and they won't empty them during the daytime either. Needs to improve, far...
Stabling shouldn't be the priority though. Need places where they are maintained, cleaned and most importantly, tanked!
Northampton is purely stabling, if only units could be tanked there, it would improve unit availability. Crewe currently isn't classed as a maintenance depot, that is...
Clearly interest at Bescot has been completely ended then. Was meant to be the home of 730s was it not?
Given the ongoing issues with tanking and availability of the 730/2s, this needs to be a WCML facility and online ASAP.
Will probably be in several routes, you could try searching for;
Walsall - Pleck Jnc
Pleck - Bushbury (presumably you don't want via Wolverhampton)
Bushbury - Stafford
I know at work we have New St - Rugeley TV, and then New St - Stafford via Bescot but they might be split differently for us...
Surely that depends entirely on figures?
It's not a practice we have, but I do know that nearly 80% of LNR customer service requests are in written form, be that mail/email/socials.
And I believe the magic figure set by the DfT is 90% answered within 7 days - there was a time a few years ago...
That's exactly what LNR CSMs do! During any major disruption, it is their job to be the front line and my experience with them is that they absolutely do that. But only at stations that have one and also have staff to have on the concourse - New St has only Avanti or NR staff for instance.
When...
I mean you're really going down a rabbit hole with that one!
So you really think TOCs will ever get to the point of training staff to, or use AI to, manipulate videos for prosecution purposes? That's an extreme level of mistrust IMO.
Barely enough staff to process PFs and MGs as it is, hence...
That depends entirely on whether the member of staff that took the photo decides to report your interactions.
You may be lucky and they don't report it further, therefore nothing will happen.
If they do report it, they have an office team who will likely email the address linked to the ticket...
