Not what I was told when I joined GB regarding rest day working. You had to state you wasn't available for rest day working otherwise they was entitled to make you work a rest day if you hadn't said you was unavailable.

Has anyone who applied to the trainee driver positions last month heard back from their VSE and M7 test results? I've passed the Pyschrometric tests earlier this year. Should i take it as bad news that 4 weeks on I still haven't heard back whether I passed the VSE and M& SJT?

I did the same, couldnt find a max haulage capacity anywhere and went with the 4624t answer.

I did pencil and paper tests and computer tests on the same day (and passed those), but without the mmi. Gwr have since come back to me to confirm stage 2 is just the mmi only

Got an email first thing this morning with them saying they're pleased to advise that I have completed the first stage of the assessment and saying I'll be contacted in due course for stage 2. Is stage 2 the MMI or DMI? I did all tests bar the MMI yesterday.

Not sure about the validity after 5 years. I do know employers generally dont care about them and are more interested in your skills etc. I've only ever been asked once for proof of my degree as well

if your degree course is something worthwhile ie engineering or science etc, i wouldn't throw uni away for a station announcer job
