Does anyone know how oyster will work tomorrow travelling to Gatwick Airport.
Have to travel via East Grinstead from Clapham Junction. When I arrive at Gatwick do I just go up to the barrier staff and ask to be let through so I can then touch out ?
I don't believe there was any adjacent passenger running lines. Its after the station where longer train shunt to run back. In service passenger trains don't go there
As long as you have started your journey you have the right to continue it. That has always been the case.
There extremely few people who will do this as it usually requires you to spend several hour hanging around the station for the first train on the day.

Sorry that's not right. Its always been the case if you can't finish your journey at the end of the day you can use the tickets on the first train of the next day.
A ticket is like a contract. Once you purchased it the railway will take you to your destination.
So if this proposal goes ahead Londoners will get free tube/train/bus from 60 to 66 then bus only from 67.
Perhaps they are hoping to put pressure on the London mayor to pay for the tube/train part and London councils only pay for the bus ?
Its mind blowing that this issue is only coming out now. Surely Chiltern must have known from the start what method of operation was needed ?
