    The Guildford - Horsham route X1 started in May with route branded 49 seat Volvo B9R/Plaxton Panther coaches, which were then replaced, primarily, by 37 seat Versas. In turn these have now been replaced by the displaced 17 seat Mercedes Sprinters! I will leave you to draw your own conclusions...

    Arriva Southern Counties already have "form" here! One vehicle arrived in Maidstone [1000], but suffered from overcrowding and is now rarely used in service. When last heard of, it had been relegated to the "Reserve Fleet". Three more turned up at Guildford [smaller vehicles, same frequency]...

    92040 is quite an interesting one. According to an old post in "another place", this loco has less than 1000 hours on the clock. Apparently it was derailed shortly after delivery and then spent a long time at Crewe EMD where it was raided for spares. Eventually it was sent to Loughborough...

    Just to clarify the position of the seven ex EPS Class 92s. All were withdrawn from service in 4/2001. The first (best) five were purchased in 2/2007 from EPS and these were 92020/021/032/040/044. Of these only 92032/044 were ever returned to service at Coquelles (by the end of 2009)...
