Had my DMI interview with Northern today, the interviewers were two really nice guys and made me feel really comfortable. When I left I thought I’d done really well, now I’m analysing it more I think my answers were probably too long and had too much rambling/details. Who knows though, fingers...

Except I have a DMI interview coming up with Northern, and I haven’t had any assessments yet. So I’ve no idea how many they’ve narrowed it down to purely from the applications!

I applied in June via the engageats website, and the application form was so detailed I didn’t even bother with a CV. I heard back last week and I have an interview on the 23rd. This is for Sheffield btw.

That’s a shame, just keep at it. Really emphasise that you have the skills they are looking for. I’ve been a postie for 21 years, virtually all my working life, so this feels very strange. It will be my first interview since 1997!
