So it seems that recently, Northern have become fond of joining the Lincoln - Sheffield to the Adwick - Sheffield. What's the point of this, as it requires a clumsy reverse and wait in Sheffield and isn't even the fastest way from Lincoln to Adwick?

So I was on a 142 the other day, and it seems that ATN have fitted a PIS dot matrix screen. Trouble is, it did no more than display 'Manchester Piccadilly' for the entire trip. What is the point of this, I mean I'm unlikely to forget where the train is going when I'm on it?

Does anyone know how the 3rd hourly express path down the Hope Valley will be used once the improvements are finished? I heard that there may be a few TPE Liverpool - Doncaster service using it, but I'm not sure if this is correct, I'm sure others will know more :)

Just interested to see which stations come out top in Number of TOCs / Platforms. Dunbar and Dore & Totley both have a score of 3 I think - do any other stations equal or exceed this? Waterloo has the lowest score I assume, not sure how many platforms it has, but a lot given the single...
