Another specific 166 question. Why are the former 1st class saloons behind each driving cab currently locked and signed off, when this isn't the case with equivalent areas of the train on other units?
Only 2 150s are still blue, 150219/238. Technically 150232 counts on that list too as it has the older interior.
Meanwhile all the 143s hadn't been repainted for quite some time, therefore some form of repaint did make sense. This combined with the initial plan to cascade the 150s, anyway.
There was one 2 car this week. 158762 on Thursday. I assumed the 150 in Exeter TMD was in the naughty corner, just forgot to specify. Again, the only difference is the issue with having to use a local door at certain stations as a result, just a bit of unnecessary hassle. But as you say...
For sure. Indeed a 158 on its own has been out on a diagram the past couple of weeks (not helped that 150216 has been parked in Exeter TMD all week). But said combo with the 150 is slightly less common, especially since the Turbo diagram started. I was just slightly surprised that the 150s...
I have a feeling the figure for Exton might not be correct here, the reason being that I've just been let off 2T20 with the unusual combination of 158769 & 150265, and I was forced to alight using a local door, which wasn't necessary at either of the Lympstone stations. The reason seemed to be...
I think the reason why a 158 has been out is possibly down to the Barnstaple branch being closed beyond Crediton this week, and only 2 158s being needed there. It may have allowed Exeter Depot to catch up on maintenance requirements for the 150s.
That's completely understandable. I work in an industry where that's also the case.
Anyone know if a 158 is on that diagram again today? EDIT : 158957 is on that today.
947 has been like that for around 3 years now. No idea why it never got branded!
946 has a rather different colour side panel too.
948 meanwhile is the worst of the lot, doesn't even carry the uni branding anymore!
Case in point here, @lx12ddo & I both saw this accident occur at the Uni...
Potentially if First took control of them, then the old Wessex Water E200s would suit that job perfectly. Perhaps 44907 could also be pinched from Hengrove to help out?
Yes, I'd noticed this as well. Seems like the whole allocation for school services in Bath has changed since before lockdown 3.0. From what I can make out, these are the changes:
OS1/2 : Still worked in the same way - that is by the vehicle that does the two 37 trips a day (stayed the same in...
There have been racecourse shuttles in the past in Bath, although they've never been numbered nor have I ever found a timetable of them anywhere. I just vaguely recall seeing an ALX400 B7 or two on a Friday night shuttling up there from the bus station.
It's not the only special service that...
I was pleasantly surprised to see that ABUS have recently acquired ex Arriva London Gemini DAF LJ04 LFK. I assume this has replaced one of the Spectras that's gone pop?
Looks as if the new Bath 32 (or the Vaccine Express as I'll refer to it) is in the hands of P&R deckers, as was to be expected. 35114/5 making up the first day's allocations.
Not sure how long the remaining ex-70/1 Streetdecks will be in Bath for. Think the re-engined E400Hs are a bit rubbish...
Ah, right. That's not a thread I follow, so I hadn't seen!
For everyone's interest, looks as if (according to tracker) the 6 vehicles on the Isle of Wight are, 33934, 33935, 33940, 36807, 36808 & 36815.
Not sure if this has been mentioned here yet, but the old 7XP service has changed operator once again. It's now in the hands of Newport Bus instead of NAT Group!
