    St Pancras International

Made my first visit to St P Intl this evening .. Not planned- but as the Northern line was stuffed I didn't have a prayer of getting to LBG to get my normal train. Think the station looks fantastic - almost full marks except ..... If you are trying to go from the Northern Line to the FCC...

    Closed stations

Rugby's Grand Central Railway station is still there ( it's under the main A428 ). The track bed was a public footpath (when I were a kid). The station is under Hillmorton Road and the platforms should still be there. I haven't got any photos but I'm sure someone will have one :) A.

    London iBus

If it’s any consolation, the iBus is proving a great talking point amongst the regular citizens of London town. The Buses customer service centre are collecting comments and suggestions for iBus and I know this information is being passed on to Senior TfL management as it is part of the...

    Thameslink and Crossrail and Franchisees

The rolling stock on FCC/ Thameslink is awful. Trains are packed with people with huge suitcases with nowhere to put them and the morning trains that go from Croydon to Blackfriars via Tulse & Herne Hill makes a tin of sardines look appealing. What makes me laugh is that there are 4 coach...

    High Level Output Statement rumours

As a regular commuter on FCC/TL I have to say it is one hell of journey but 99 times out of 100 the problem lies on one side of London Bridge or the other - once you get to Blackfriars it's not that bad. Can someone tell me.. Is it my imagination or do all SouthEastern trains get priority...

    New Horn Regulations

Well the non-stop trains going through Three Bridges are certainly stll using 2-tone today. The Southern that passed up at 14:08 certainly used 2 tone as it came past the depot. Not heard the FCC 319's doing it as they shoot through but I know the Electrostars do it all the time - As I...

    South London fire closes stations

Really strange going into London Bridge around noon and seeing no Southeastern trains in or out ! Fire was still throwing out stupid amounts of smoke when I went home via New Cross Gate around 1800. It was probably the only time FCC are going to get priority over the stretch between London...

Opening date and name for Thameslink box?

You try doing that from KC/SP to KCM when you're drunk. That incline feels like you're climbing Everest ! I suggested that they employ a fleet of golf buggies but the FCC staff didn't seem to find that amusing ! :???:
