Certainly not after 1992. The last travelcard change before that was when Kingston and Uxbridge were moved out to the "new" Zone 6, from Zone 5 which was the limit before. Google that and see what you get. If so Iver would've been in Zone 5
I paid about £27 single for an inclusive berth. Was a bunk bed but only me in it. In the morning slipped down to First Class for free tea and biccies. These run out quickly though

My company came up with a carefully worded agreement which none of the reps spotted. When you are rostered al, the annual leave will count as annual leave for the whole week including those which you are rd. This reduces the compliment by 2-4 a day. No one can get ad hoc al at weekends and...
you can't get annual leave unless you book it months ahead. let alone at weekends or during the summer.
five weeks annual leave are rostered (including those holiday weeks of first week in Jan...) which gives 9 spare. eight are extra days which are the bhs which are now paid at flat rate.
