It's northern instructors and training staff doing it under supervision of CAF.
There is no point in bringing in other staff, as the people testing it can use the experience to design a training plan.
I recall that report, and the point of Chester - Manchester and Chester - Crewe being the only profit making lines.
If the Welsh government wants it's trainset to be solely for Wales then surely it would want to jettison the English bits to deliver a World class franchise. The basket case that...
Do the tests.
You have nothing to lose and are not guaranteed to pass or even a job at the end of it.
Pass and it lasts 5 years anyway.
Although I suspect they will not allow you to train whilst expecting - a woman I work with had her safety critical status removed once she declared pregnancy.
Correct.
I have also given 2 on receiving the ra
2 against a red means me and the guard have a chat, no official reporting dependant on the conversation or the guard.
99% are apologetic. The 1% argued and then wondered why the second time he did it I stopped the train and got it...
Platform staff will indicate to you where they want you to stop. As will local knowledge of what services come in behind/Infront of you.
As for a list of route indications - not that I am aware. I get them on route packs and maps. I don't think there is a centralised list available in public...
There is a connection.
It's just got a whopping big sleeper with a stop board attached to it on the rails.
But it's signalled at a turnback. Used more at night than anything else.
The unions didn't dismantle BR.
That was down to the government.
The individualist lifestyle is of a set design. The entire system is geared to working alone, no longer are you and the guard considered a team, as is seen with the continual splitting of diagrams so that guard and driver work...
I'm not sure that would work.
If the trigger active then it would only work if the corresponding arm was active.
They work in pairs, so if you had one trigger and 2 arm loops then the arm loops would reset each other making the process pointless.
This is absolutely clueless.
Industrial relations between unions and TOC's extends vastly more than what you see.
LDC's help TOC's produce legal diagrams, stick within health and safety parameters and design training packages.
Please point out any industries with better working...
Tpws is not designed to prevent disruption. It's sole purpose is the protection of trains.
It comes down to cost, to fit every sidings with tpws at every sidings would be very expensive.
No.
Their is lots to prevent a major disaster happening again.
Tpws does its job very well. Major conflict points are protected, but there is no need to put them in every signal - the risk of hitting another train in minimal on plain line where the driver should in effect see the tail lights...
You best ring up the BTP then, as they looked at the incident and decided it wasn't an assault on the grounds of common law.
I mean I am assuming you are a barrister or lawyer of somesort, clearly the police are wrong, and my own TOC's standards department. Otherwise you're being extremely...
Short answer - yes I work with several EU nationals who's second and even third language was English. I was in training with one.
Shouldn't be a problem, if you meet the criteria then you should get a job.
Because said chap was out of the window heading towards a tunnel. If he decided to ignore the polite tap then there's a good chance he would of been injured.
And he wasn't assaulted. Common law allows for individuals to use force to defend themselves or others. In this case I used force by...
