It's worth noting that Monday-Friday, this service is only to Hartlepool. Extends to Sunderland on Saturdays though...
There used to be a whole fleet in Stockton-on-Tees, used for the 7 to Yarm usually. Absolutely awful buses - boneshakers!
Not sure if there's still any left there, mind.
This is quite frustration. This is a great motivational tool to the staff of SouthEastern, as it highlights how working together and being a part of it helps everything run that little bit smoother. It's not meant to be for us, as it's obviously more about running a good company as one.
It's...
In my opinion, it just makes the country look a complete shambles in the eyes of the world. We have one chance to prove ourselves, and there's always someone who wants to ruin it, and in this case those who strike. It's our country and we should be proud to be hosting something of this scale...
Not much has changed in Teesside & Hartlepool, can anyone tell me if anything has gone down for the Olympics?
Only thing i've really noticed is some Service 36's, usually ran by Enviro 300s, are now ALX 300's...
Hartlepool is a prime example of this.

My routes would be fairly short, really. They would operate overnight, and connect towns to events/stages.
METRO RADIO ARENA* - NEWCASTLE COACH STATION - SUNDERLAND CITY CENTRE (for Empire) - SEAHAM - HARTLEPOOL - STOCKTON ON TEES - MIDDLESBROUGH
SUNDERLAND STADIUM OF LIGHT* - SUNDERLAND CITY...
I was quite pleased to see Northern making an effort here though, putting 4-car trains on between Newcastle & Middlesbrough for much of the day, with various events up and down the coast! (and yes, that's double what we normally get)
