Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification updates

Thought it was something to do with that but it’s 75 not 60, 60 is only for the crossing itself.

Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification updates

I wonder if the limit could be upped to 90 on the Chat Moss section or will works be required Ashley crossing being replaced with a bridge would allow the 60 limit to be removed.

Thought Metroline would need more than 100 to replace all the hybrids and B9s.

    Liverpool City Region-Bus Franchising

I’m very interested to see how many cross boundary routes currently run by a depot in Merseyside don’t end up being included.

    Liverpool City Region-Bus Franchising

    Guessing the 375/385 isn’t included.

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

I do raise a good point, TfGM could drop the funding for the evening 22A with the 612 covering the busier part of the 22A & 360,all depends on if they want to maintain the Warrington link.

TfGM Bee Network - fleet discussion

I’ve noticed only 4027 is currently in service out of the 61 plate E200s are these due to be withdrawn as well?

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

I think the 612 will skip Belvedere Road and Queens Drive and go straight down Crow Lane as the current 22 does but having it run the entire 34 route up to the railway station is a huge possibility.

34/34A does need a frequency increase I wonder if they’ll be timed in between the 612s would presume the 612 will be every 60 mins.

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

I am aware TfGM don’t have the power to physically withdraw the routes what I mean is Warrington & Arriva may give up the routes themselves as they might not get as much revenue as they did before, as already mentioned I do see Arriva giving up the 360 at some point.

    Bee Network Service/Route Discussion

I do wonder if TfGM have done this to replace the evening 22A and eventually the Wigan-Newton le Willows part of the 360 as I can see Arriva giving it up eventually.

Trivia: How many Transbus Enviro300s are left in public service in the UK?

HTL have brought back ex demo and Ipswich SK07 DYA for schools although it’s technically not an original since it has the 6.7 instead of the 5.9.

I knew that I was wondering about the first couple of days in September before St Helens starts?

    Liverpool City Region-Bus Franchising

How will the St Helens school routes work during the first week of September as it seems pointless them running them with the current operators for just a couple of days.
