My SWT Gold Card is due to expire 16 Jan, would I be able to purchase a new card starting 01 Jan to miss out on the price increase this year (understanding I would lose the 16 days on my current card) or do I have to wait for my current card to expire before I can renew?

Portchester is still being painted, The lamp posts and railings have been done, today saw them working on the canopy and the top coat of red paint on the doors.
Cosham has recently had a new roof on the Fareham bound shelter.
I travelled on 377116 today on the 0706 Southampton to Victoria. Also saw it on the 1432 Victoria to Southampton and 1713 return if this helps your confirmation.
377112 has also been refurbished.
Although the signage has been replaced at Portchester the destination of services has not been updated, still says Platform 1 for trains to Bournemouth, Poole and Wareham. (when the Portsmouth to Southampton stopper used to continue to Wareham).
