I am safeguarded staff and have Residential Travel from Tring (TRI) to Stonebridge Park (SBP) and I am frequently now attending meetings in Euston for which Network Rail will buy me a ticket.
My question is; If I use my residential ticket along with a Day single from Harrow (HRW) to Euston...
Signallers generally don’t have a say. If it can be, and is timetabled that way we will do it. I would love to be able to bung you across West London Junction, especially if there is congestion on the Reliefs/Good in the Sudbury Jn area. In fact some of us will ask if you sign the ladder as it...
I was responding to the person hoping 36 minutes was not a final path. I’m not that good at posting including quotes.

Yep and as they’re slightly different it shouldn’t be too hard to get the restriction removed.
13.5 minutes from Euston - Acton ML isn’t bad. But agreed coming the other way is slow as coming the other way, pathing through WL Junction is trickier. I wouldn’t think these are the final path though.
The entire DC line from Kilburn High Road to Watford is controlled manually by one signaller. admittedly, mostly in auto, except around Queen’s Park, Stonebridge Park, Harrow and Watford. So at any one time, the signaller will have 7 DCs on the patch and 5-8 LULs all constantly requiring...
There is still a fault at Euston, the fault that’s been ongoing there the last few days has been narrowed down and is affecting platforms 10-12 only now.
Stonebridge Park and Harrow and Wealdstone could do with one on the down DC, so that in the event of late running on the LUL, through trains aren’t held up while the terminators are tipping out. Even better if an extra crossover south of SBP could be installed to allow an LUL to turn back south...
Euston is quite unusual in that its ‘slow line’ platforms are between the ‘fast line’ platforms. Not easily solved either as the layout between Camden and Euston is optimised for that.
All that said, the Euston layout is extremely restricted compared to Paddington to Ladbroke Grove for instance.
