Good Morning all Could anyone tell me which TFW Active Travel Units are working today? As far as im aware only AT01 to AT04 are in traffic. These are made up with AT01- 153507+153312 AT02- 153528+153353 AT03- 153531+153303 AT04- 153552+153382

Whilst not drivers, RMT on XC have announced an overtime and RDW ban from the 9th June to 25th October.

I had AT04 in the Crewe Shrewsbury shuttle yesterday.

People should realise the its not just drivers and DMs that are competent to drive, operations managers and the like may well have come from the driving grade and have maintained competency

This was in BR days, when privatisation arrived, all train crew grade were restuctured and DOO became the norm for freight operation and the majority of passenger ECS. Most passenger services have guards on apart from suburban work in the South East/London and in Glasgow. So there is no DOO...

For a start off, lets put the myth of a hefty pay rise to bed. DOO freight trains came in during the mid 80s and drivers got psid about 8 quid a shift extra if they worked one.
