There's actually 0 waiting list on a good few of the manual lines depots according to the last list I saw, which obviously I can't post here. The ATO lines are a different matter though, but then I wonder if those drivers would want to go through the misery of qualifying and training for manual...
Seems a bit strong, while I don't agree with grades being downsized it's still not bad. People are struggling out there on a lot less money than that and it still offers a foot in the door, especially considering no qualifications are required.
Very interesting to see that no-one has replied to this thread with interest. CSA was traditionally (last 10/15 years at least) the route to becoming driver so this could well be a wonderful opportunity.
Looks like a great opportunity. As someone who has recently qualified as a night tube driver, with a minimum of 12 months before being able to apply for full-time, I wonder if this is a chance worth looking into as an alternative. Does anyone have any details on the London Overground pension...
Sure most of you have heard by now but the Night Tube is to commence on 19th August with the Central and Victoria lines kicking in first.

Also had a couple of questions for those training for Night T/Ops already, what's the pay rate...
10 calendar days have already passed so doesn't look great, but 10 working days would be the close of play tomorrow, so you never know. Good luck either way mate.
If you were successful you'll get a call from a private number. If unsuccessful you'll get an email rejection. When I went for mine, I went in on the Friday and got the phone call on the Tuesday, a few days after.
People that have started their training, any indication which line you'll be...
Got my medical next Tuesday, and a provisional training date of June 20th. Looking forward to it. Hopefully you folks that have started already can keep us posted on how it's going? Also, can anyone that's been through the medical give me a run-down of what the day consists of?
When did you sit yours? Also, keep an eye out for private numbers, as I received a verbal confirmation saying I'd passed before the email confirmation was sent through.
Not as yet mate, have sent over the pre-med declarations etc to them today and then I'll receive the training dates after my medical. The only info received so far is that the training dates are on rolling starts and some guys have started already, and also that it will be at Ashfield House...
Hi all. I've been following this thread for a while now but refrained from posting until today. I applied for this role back when it came up a few months ago and after what felt like a never-ending and strenuous recruitment process, I received an offer today! Pretty chuffed to say the least...
