Here are some photos from about an hour ago. I had assumed things would be pretty quiet after the weekend but activity was in full swing. Looked like the main work areas were OLE to the south side of the station and something on/under the track between long road and the guided busway bridge.
A few more photos from earlier this afternoon, including a few from the Addenbrookes road bridge. A clearer view of the OLE works and possibly something being dug under the track near the station end of the site.
I have not seen any published info on this yet, but my assumption is that there would be few buses serving the station itself given the proximity of the Addenbrookes bus station and very limited forecourt space around the new rail station for buses to stop.

Which reminds me that...
Ah - thanks for sharing that, I couldn’t work out what they were for. I was looking at those holes and thought someone must have been playing with the plant. You can just see the area in question to the right in my photo 4574
Must be rear face surely. Unless it’s a very close up view of where...
A few more photos from Sunday taken from the busway bridge. Looks like the platforms are continuing to take shape and culverts over the drain now almost complete.
Here are some photos from earlier today. Including the relocated comms cabinet & mast at Shepreth junction, new (to me) OLE near the Addenbrookes road bridge, finished busway crossing, and overview photos from the busway bridge.
Looks like the station forecourt area is starting to take shape -...
Couple of photos and an update.
Looks like work to level and prepare the site on east side is in progress. Maybe the platform 1 edge will be going in soon. Work continues on diversion of the water main in the country park. There is also work started on the busway on busway bridge but no idea if...
Some photos from this morning. Not a politician in sight :).
Busway crossing has made good progress since last week. Maybe it will reopen soon, although looks like there is work starting on laying water pipe through the ‘active recreation area’ beyond the crossing so could be a while yet...
Some photos from earlier today. The edge for platform 3 has been extended and the OLE to the north of the busway bridge is now partially wired up. There was lots more activity down by Addenbrookes road but I did not have time to go have a look there today.
Anyone have any ideas what the blue...
Final set of photos from yesterday from me.
There was a crane working at Shepreth junction. Looked like it was lifting the telecoms cabinet/room, presumably to the new concrete pad just south of the junction.
Lots of progress and activity this week.
It looks like some (time lapse?) cameras have been installed on the busway bridge, so maybe we will get official video or images soon.
Concrete has now been poured for the new busway crossing.
Not much change to the site north of the busway, although...
Photos from earlier today. Some progress visible on the busway crossing, but couldn’t see much change on the station itself. Looked like more equipment and OHLE parts were about so maybe they are getting ready for a busy time next weekend.
Long Road bridge I think. That’s the next one north from the new station site after the busway bridge. An older bridge than the others in the area and very much restricted to two tracks.
If EWR does come in from the south then I assume it will need to be replaced.

Here are a few...
I was wondering how much having the minimum requirement for new land to achieve the project goals was behind the seemingly strange layout.
Between Shepreth junction and the new station there doesn’t seem to be much reason not to go to four tracks all the way, beyond need to purchase more of...
No, not sure of the technical term but the junction is being widened out so that it is 4, then 3 tracks for a while before going back to 2. There are details on the plans linked above.

As for the activity at the station, the portals to the north of the busway are now in place showing...
