Saw this today in a GWR network status message: I'm impressed they're giving some technical detail like this, and it certainly makes me more sympathetic to what's going on. Is this new that they go into this level of detail? If so, long may it remain.

I've got an off peak day return from Bristol (BRI) to Evesham (EVE). The ticket office charged £24.10 for this, with restriction W5 (only via Worcester). GWR's online tool tries to charge me £64.20 for what seems the same journey. What causes this difference?
