Connections into restricted super-off peak train

It says that it is

Not valid on trains timed to depart: Reading after 04:29 and before 10:30 and after 15:31 and before 19:01;

but also

Super Off-Peak tickets from stations not listed are valid for connections into trains departing as shown above.

So, on the return portion, can I definitely take any train from Reading to Bristol because I start in Guildford?

No, you have to adhere to this part:

• London Paddington after 04:29 and before 10:10 and after 15:04 and before 19:01;
• Reading after 04:29 and before 10:30 and after 15:31 and before 19:01;

So, on the return portion, can I definitely take any train from Reading to Bristol because I start in Guildford?

If you need to dodge the restrictions on trains departing Reading at certain times of day, might be able to do Guildford - Woking (change train) - Salisbury (change train) - Bristol (but depends on what routing restrictions you have).

Is a slower route, but if alternative means waiting hour or two to use Reading route, then might be faster.

There are Waterloo departure and Salisbury arrival restrictions which rather spoil that.

No - it just means that there are no restrictions from stations not listed (such as Guildford). You still have to comply with the restrictions from listed stations, e.g. Reading.
