The reason I asked about gat ex to Brighton is that I will be travelling about the network and may try to get one othe evening ones from Gatwick to Brighton in an effort to get on a 442. Perhaps there are other services which are operated by them.

Thanks for that. I note that it is not valid on gat ex on the southern website. Does that include Brighton to Gatwick and return as well as Victoria to Gatwick

Seems a bit strange, almost going backwards especially as Hexham to Newcastle and on to Edinburgh is not permitted.
