The January course starts pretty much straight after the rules course I'm currently on finishes. The trainer I have is booked to do that course & for those who are going to be on it all I'll say is you'll be worked hard but you will have a very good trainer.

You'll find that Southern tend mainly contact you by phone and follow the phone call up with an email. The practice materials will probably be emailed to you also.

Having just gone through the process I'd definitely say stay positive as it can get you down and your mind starts twisting things and as VicPaul says make sure you look smart appearance wise but also do your homework before and during the process the assessors will help you through the process...

I'm pleased to say having just started with Southern as a trainee I am one of the few that's managed to make the the leap from bus driver to trainee driver.

I think it depends on which intake you were interviewed for. I am in the same batch as Iwillbeadriver and in the interview assuming Iwillbeadriver was told the same thing but we were told mid November for a potential start date.
