And what is wrong with that may I ask?
This is yet another Tory stitch up and as both Lib Dems and Labour have said:
"It is vital that shareholders and creditors are not allowed to walk away with the rewards from profitable contracts while the taxpayer bails out loss-making parts of the...
I think we are all agreed something needs to change to help redress the disparity however the key difference is the Moorgate service from WGC that the MML does not need to deal with. The. ECML is probably 50% busier at peak hours than the MML on the Fast. The Slow would suffice but the Moorgate...
Hatfield should become the main hub if WGC is going to need a full remodel. WGC should retain the Moorgate service and start to reduce the fast stopper frequency as it lacks the platform layout. Hatfield has better connectivity, a proper bus station and great parking. Hatfield also has the space...
Yes agree. I wonder if creating a platform '4' using the vacant land to the west would be an option and creating the extra exit. That would alleviate the pressure that the one staircase and three exits present today and as you say it's only going to get worse.
Many thanks Adam for the details. What a waste of space and it's quite an eyesore now. I wonder if it and the space on that side could lend itself to extending platform 3 for 12 carriage trains.
What is/was it used for? Are there any plans to level or reuse the site as building work appears to be going on to the south of the VW/Audi storage site.
Thanks all for the info.
Hoping the escalator at City is also repaired during the blockade. That said I do wonder how much capacity there is on the stairs and escalators (even when fully working) at City for 24TPH. This current escalator issue means queues build in the peak after the...
Does anyone know why there are large areas of both low level platforms with scaffold and boarding? Is this a temp situation or a deliberate narrowing of the platforms to increase the time to exit and inconvenience customers - similar to removing the up escalator at CTY.
Thanks but these timetables are confusing and wrong then as the MDE Services are still listed as running through the core.
So what is listed isn't right either way.
I would tolerate a change at Finsbury Park if there as a frequent stopping pattern from the some of the longer distance routes as...
Would it be possible to be clear what this actually means as reading this thread its quite ambiguous what has been delayed and what has not.
e.g. is there a final May 2018 timetable yet agreed for GN for stations south of Stevenage?
Moreover what services will stop at Finsbury Park post May...
