What grade is it for-there may well be some questions of a technical nature centring around equipment types in the area you're applying for.

This is the section I work on as part of maintenance,still not used to seeing electric traction in the area.

Interesting reading guys,I have an interview for a secondment to DA up here north of the border tomorrow,has certainly given me a wide insight than just sitting reading thru the DAG.

Cheers,its only secondment for a year or so,just looking to get away from the frontline for a bit,and spend some time in an office type,control environment.

According to local press,being treated as non-suspicious.Sounds more like a suicide.

Have an internal interview next week for a secondment to delay attribution(currently s&t) as I am looking for a change for a while. Anyone here got any experience of DA? Have done a bit of research,downloaded some stuff etc as well as arranged a visit to DA today. Any advice appreciated.

Extra set of points for us to maintain and fault here too.IBCL type. Believe with the new layout trains coming from Cumbernauld can pass through at slightly quicker spped-25mph as oppose to 10mph for old layout.

Almost all of our signals on the E&G (on my patch anyway) are long life SL35's. No prospect of them being changed to LED's any time in the future.

Saw this on the Control log earlier in the week.
