I was genuinely astonished to read this report. "Industry-accepted horseplay" sounds alarming to say the least.
Thoughts with the person who was injured and will be living with the consequences.

I'm currently sat on a train stuck at Bicester North because of a signalling failure between Banbury and Leamington. Anyone know anything more about what's happening? From the on train announcements it sounds like a severe problem.
Yesterday I travelled from Leamington Spa to London Marylebone on the 0720 departure from Leamington (due in 0842). I had an Anytime Day Return from Leamington to Bicester (£15.30 with 16-25 railcard) and an Anytime Return from Bicester to London (£51.30 with the same railcard). The train struck...
Going from Cardiff Central to University (Birmingham) next week - I need to be on the 1545 ex CDF on Wednesday (18th) and back on the 0836 ex UNI the following day. I can get it down from £83 anytime with a split at Cheltenham Spa to get £57.90 (off peak return Cardiff Cheltenham and then...
This news report details NR plans for £200m of improvements to the Valley Lines. Improvement of frequency of trains on City Line is something I'd be particularly pleased to see. No clue as to what the plans would be for the stock to run the extra trains though...
I'm wanting to travel Aberystwyth to Wallasey Grove Road on 28 December, returning on the 29th, in both cases leaving sometime in the morning. The off-peak return is £47.60 (I don't have the benefit of any railcard). Does anyone have any good ideas for any splits etc.?
Thanks!
Does anyone know if anytime day single Cardiff Bay to Waun-gron Park is valid via Cathays with a break of journey there? Changing at Radyr in the onward journey in other words.
Thanks.
