Am I the only one who thinks it strange that two non-identical versions of the 458/5s will be grouped under the same sub-class?

I posted in another thread thinking it was this one that in 30 years time a preservation trust will be raising funds to convert a 458/5 back to a 460.

I like that the roof has been painted. I think this was a feature of the 442s when they were repainted into revised SWT livery.

I think I saw two coupled units at Stewarts Lane parked on one of the lines that runs parallel to, but lower than, the Kent line.

Why do the 313s' centre cab door and windows have to be coloured? They've been black, Silverlink purple and Southern green. Why can't they be yellow for a change?
