Looks like the CS loco stabled in Edinburgh Waverley during the day has shifted back from the Mid Road to the head shunt opposite Platform 7. 92014 the incumbent this morning. Still looks like the VT Thunderbird is stabling elsewhere whilst construction work takes place...

It had never crossed my mind that the reverse at Wembley was undone by approaching EDB from the east. That's a fortuitous fluke!

This might be worth a wee look down the ECML for a good location for a photograph. Early morning - probably good sunlight from the east though this summer that is not a gimme....

92's at Edinburgh Waverley still being stabled on the Mid Road. A 92 was there this afternoon although I didn't have time to clock it's number as I was running to catch my train - might have been 92033 but my eyesight is getting dodgy! :oops:

This service was double headed today by two DRS Class 66's. I believe the lead locomotive was 66301. Can anyone advise what the second locomotive was please? Picture of the train in question at the link below. Many thanks in advance for help with this one...

Does anyone have any information on reason for yesterday's 1A25 Edinburgh to Aberdeen going from 10 minutes late at South Gyle to 43 minutes late at Dalmeny Junction. It passed Kirkcaldy still approx 40 minutes late with 73 966 working solo up front. Photo (rather a naff one!) in usual place...

The 92's have to take over completley when the Mk V rolling stock arrives - there are no alternatives except sticking clients in buses. So why would GBRf use a modified 92 on ECS then rent an FL 90 to do the main run. Surely they should be beating the hell out of the 92's to iron out every...

Been hauled behind 92s many times but heard one for first time today. They sound weird! Kind of deep penetrating thrum. Very different from 86's 87;s or even 90's

Colas 47 was still at Craigentinny this afternoon. 66 739 "Bluebell Railway" hauled my sleeper one night last year with a 73 tucked in as second loco before the 73's started to go solo. I didnt get the number of the Colas as it was on wrong side of train and I was half asleep!
