By holiday I mean quit my job and have a month or 2 between jobs. Would be nice. Just eager to get started now as I'm sure everyone is. The worst part is the not knowing when.

See that's my worry I would prefer a few months because I can't book a holiday now just not knowing and it could last till summer from what I've been reading on here.

Hi all. For those who got a confirmed start date how much notice did they give you?

I'm the same as you waiting for Crewe with very little patience haha too excited and like you say even if it's 3 months it's nice to know for sure so I can quit and plan a holiday in between.

It does all sound very positive and not having a definite start date even if it might be 6 months away would be a big help I think it's the not having it in black and white that keeps you edge. I'm hoping once this medical is over on the 13th I will hear back from them then.

So what did she say about course dates? Any ideas of whether this year or next?

Medical on Wednesday then fingers crossed I get a start date Soon can't wait to quit my job lol How much notice do they normally give you?

Thanks everyone I'm beyond excited haha. No all I have date wise is a medical booked in. I'll only quit my job when I have a definite start date. You also have to go online and pay for a background check which they reimburse with proof of purchase. I guess once all that's passed then they give...

Got my confirmation email today booked in for a medical in 2 weeks. Driver job in Crewe. I guess once I pass the medical then I wait for a training course slot. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone in the pool heard back and got a date?

I was at Crewe on 3rd of October got an email a few days after saying I had passed and waiting in a pool now it's a long wait haha

I'm currently in the talent pool for Crewe. Is this a guaranteed job offer ? I was told it could be weeks or months before the training starts so it's just a waiting game for a medical first. Good luck everyone.
