ASLEF strikes February 1st and 3rd

PPE contracts, the last time I looked, had nothing to do with the railway so that appears to be deflection/whataboutery. I think one of the facts "the railway" and those who work on it have to accept is that it's a lot less essential than it used to be, given the new world of hybrid/home...

Advice not to travel on day after strikes

Interesting that you cite political parties as an example of those which can expel members who go against their interests. Jeremy Corbyn voted against the Labour whip 617 times since becoming an MP in 1983 - I imagine the concept of collective action was an alien concept to him too - but he...

    Possible disruption 19th September?

I noted a number of services "parked" near Burnham earlier due to the...

    Reservation of an entire coach

I can remember booking half a coach on a GWR Paddington - Plymouth service for a rugby tour back in 1999............when we got on board, we found the other half of the coach had been booked by a women's rugby team...........it was a lively journey! :D

    Gwr delay advice - Sunday 31 0ct

It's Sunday so it's normally pretty hopeless due to crew shortage But also looks as if there is a signal failure between Swindon and Didcot, although that's only happened in the last hour or so I think.

Petition to bring back the buffet on GWR

Because there is little demand for dining, hence the demise of Travelling Chef. Better value food is available to most before boarding.

    Glastonbury Extras

Are GWR running extras to Castle Cary out of Paddington? (To be honest if you haven't got on at Paddington, you'll be very lucky to get on at Reading today, they generally leave Paddington packed to the rafters in my experience).
