I caught up in this today. An already extended journey time from Swansea to Paddington due to engineering works between Cardiff and Bridgend was eventually 4 hours & 15 mins because of additional stops after Bristol Parkway and longer dwell times due to the volume of passengers.

Just arrived at the EMR platforms at St Pancras for the 10.35 train to Nottingham.
There are lanes separated by tensa barriers for different services as previously but at present the queues are relatively short and don’t go further back than Pret.

EMR has issued a press release advising that a new queuing system will be in place over Easter, with passengers with reservations taking priority.
Curious to see how this works out on such a narrow concourse...
Passing through Clapham Junction this evening, I noticed new departure boards are being installed at the foot of the stairs from the tunnel to the platforms.
There's also been some activity in the long closed retail units in the tunnel which seem to be used for equipment for these works...
