I applied in Feb for driver at Blackburn finally finished my assessments and mmi in Jul. Last email I got was the next stage is a medical got a another update this month, can't offer start date yet and they have 9 months to offer or application expires. Looks like if may or may not happen

I recently passed my interview and assessments but got an email a couple of weeks ago saying I would get a date for a medical by email and letter.

I successfully passed my train driver assessments the other week at Manchester and received an email from Northern saying i will be contacted by mail and email for an appointment for a medical. I will be leaving my current job in Sept (have no choice retirement), how long do you normally wait...

I got my successful email yesterday as well for Blackburn The MMI was an experience I wouldn't like to repeat

I'm started with GB Rail and have only complete the paper assessments as they do it over 2 days.(again on hold) I found them OK just practice and use this forum to gather info as well as the info pack from Northern on the assessments it really does work.

Blackburn, but I did have an email stating the recruitment/assessment will go ahead its just when!

During my interview with Northern they asked me how far away from the depot I lived

I'm currently doing my resettlement from the Army and know that DB and GB rail Freight actively recruit ex mil. I've just passed interview and part of my tests with Northern, before the virus put it on hold.Northern did say they do also like to recruit ex mil but no guarantee for employment.
