I got to phone interview but decided to withdraw as I'm moving away from London. There was about 10 to 12 people last time I went remember they might only need 4 people. The test it self is tricky that train timetable chart that's what they used to test us on last time but there was 3 charts the...
Have they sent you a little test sheet in the post? Last time when I went back in jan there was just two tests one was to do with you looking from a passenger point of view wanting to travel to different train stations. It was questions like you are at west station your train is 6 minuets late...
When I went last time it was just two tests the train timetable and a scat test with shapes. After that would be a little drive in a car/van then interview. But my nerves got the better of me which lead me to fail.

Phone interview pretty easy really...
It it all depends on what your doing for a job now? There's shift patterns working weekends early late shifts. Good money relaxing and easy work I'd say! Just depends on how you feel about the job

No I new what I was getting into its just come at a wrong time now! I just don't know how I should go about this! Do I email them or just don't turn up.
Got an assessment date for Depo driver or "Train care" on flicking though the 20 maybe 30 pages to practice on my first thoughts are to throw it out the window! It's taken them a long time to get back to me on this and I'm not sure this is what I want to do now! Do I give it a shot or do I tell...
I'm still waiting to hear back from them but was told on here there's another course running in September. So fingers crossed we might hear something soon.
Is it true that your asked on what you'd do or feel if someone jumped under your train? Seems a little dark but has anyone ever been asked this when going for a railway job?
Haha sometimes I wonder should I even ask questions after an interview. The only questinS I would have would be about the training. I would wanna know how many chances I got at passing assessments. Basically saying how many times can I fail before I'm kicked out and that's not something you can...
I read somewhere on here it's a good way to get your foot in the door if a trainee job did come up in the depot you was gonna be working out of I think they might come to you first hand seeing as your half way to already being a train driver.
