Mate, take it easy, it's most unlikely you'll get a course right after passing assessments, it just doesn't seem to happen. Patience. Trust me.

There is a course starting in June. Places are already confirmed (for conductors and drivers) from what I gather. I suspect post Xmas applicants will be on the next one, but I don't know when that is. Again it all comes down to results and standing in the TP

No It is dipped and sent off to a lab for analysis also. When you see the kit they use, it's certainly not something you could just go out and buy off the shelf. Believe me! Anyway, bottom line if you have nothing in your system then don't worry about it. If you do or think you might...

Practice over and over but don't burn yourself out. As for courses, could be weeks or months, just keep patient, best of luck.

I've had a very positive update call from being in the talent pool for trainee conductors. Will stay tight lipped until formalised but looks like it'll be starting soon.

Yes HR called me recently just to say keep hanging in there, we haven't forgot about you. Looking like a good few months before a course will come up but I'll keep waiting. I thought that was excellent just for them to call and reassure really.

I don't know for sure but two big depots I suspect there will be!

I had the same email for Wigan after passing all conductor tests etc, they then withdrew the job, however I gather that the above is quite normal whilst they pool all the candidates to move forward into training etc so don't worry about it.

Congrats! This is reassuring, I applied for Wigan in October for trainee conductor, passed sif, online test, interview and assessments and I am now on hold as the job has been withdrawn. Fingers crossed something comes up soon, all the best for you :)

I have the same issue. I was applying for Wigan, what about you? I was also there on the 3rd. Have you been checking your emails? Wigan has been withdrawn at this time, although it does still say on hold after successfull conductor assessment in the engageats.
