Can you take bikes on replacement buses?

I drove that several times doing reliefs and covering days off. Slabtrack was a brilliant project. The bus was a Wright Endurance bodied Volvo B10B which in its service days was 6514. It was transferred to the driving school in 2010 and renumbered 8214. Merseyrail and Network Rail requested a...

    Bus Manufacturer News & Discussion

I feel Wright should make friends again with Volvo considering the Swedish firm's aspirations for alternative power and corner a share of the growing market whilst at the same time developing their own hydrogen technology.

Private plates on buses and coaches

Cumfybus of Southport had spell with H-CFY & C-MFY plates. FY being accidentally appropriate because that and WM were Southport registration marks pre 1974. Also Shearings used several such as YTP749, SPR124, XTW359 from memory. In 1989 they bought a batch of FDZ 3xxx marks that were current...

    Arriva exiting Cannock

They near as damn are as they are part of the new Arriva North created last year when all OpCos were reorganised into 3 units : Arriva North, Arriva South and Arriva London. It would make sense to transfer them to the Wales unit though to tidy the operations up locally.
