377/6 and /7 are compatible with all other 377s hence the classification where as the 387s aren't. The numbers of trains means nothing today. Desiro Cities will be 700/707/717 with Aventra being 345/710. The latter makes even less sense, even if the latter is historical.

Other than the 442 timing (can't remember them at present) your pretty much spot on for everything.

That's because it used the same database as the 377/5 so was already in existence. The GN database its completely brand new (even the 377/5 on introduction weren't wholly new for parts south of the river).

That's impossible. The air pressure would blow the doors open! The seals around the doors aren't air tight even when the doors are closed!
