The issue with an 1827 would be that 1N98 1842 Kings Cross to Newcastle (Lumo) occupies Stevenage P4 for six minutes so it can be looped by the Middlesbrough LNER service. 1N98 then effectively leaves Stevenage in roughly the path of where that 1827 would run.
