Well I posted it off at 3pm Monday, it cane back this morning!
Fantastic stuff, and panic over.
Well, kinda. The expiration date on the card (one year)is the 20th October 2011. I don't understand why they have done this, and they must have misunderstand my covering letter saying this I...
Surely the above means it is cut and dried - "any permitted" means any direct train between the two stations?
I have travelled from London SP to Brighton and had "FCC ONLY " on my ticket in the "Route" section, so surely any restriction on operator also has to appear in this section on the...
Just read the linked thread above - all interesting stuff.
However running these EMT sets via Barnsley would require a modicum of common sence which is obviously lacking.
Are HST sets allowed to use the line north of Barnsley to Wakefield K via Darton though?
P.s. Wish i had found...
Which route do these currently use from Leeds? Dearne Valley Line (via Goldthorpe)?
Why do these currently run light from Leeds to Sheffield anyway? Seems a waste IMO.
I only thought it was 2tph?
- 1 tph to Huddersfield via Barnsley and Penistone
- 1 tph to Leeds via Barnsley, Wakefield Kirkgate and Castleford
Which was the third? I didnt think there was a third until the Leeds-Wakefield K - Barnsley - Sheffield - Nottingham service started a few years back...
Fair enough.
Thats the cheapest I can find too.
If you could run from Euston to Kings Cross by 0800, it would cost you £34.50 + £21 = £55.50 instead of £61.40. For some reason the 0804 departure costs almost 3 times more (£62) before going back down to £27 again for the 0830 one.
My partner is registered blind and so qualifies that way. Form was sent Next Day delivery at 3pm today, so will get there tomorrow, hopefully will be sent back to me Next Day on Wednesday, Thursday at the latest :)
The only problem is their location. AB30 is one of the postcodes the Royal Mail do not guarantee Next Day 1.30pm delivery for, it is actually 5.30pm. So it may add a day onto an already tight turnaround!
Indeed, I have already bought the tickets on the assumption we could go into Sheffield station and pick up the DPR in the same way I bought my YPR when I was 18!
I have spoken to the people who issue the cards, and they have informed me that if I ask them to bill us for £23 for one year...
Hi all, first time poster so be kind.
We are off on a trip from Sheffield--> Edinburgh next Wednesday, and as the OH is register blind, we booked the trip stating we had a Disabled Persons Railcard, with the intention of dropping into the station the week before the trip and buying a DPR...
