it's definitely not so simple- class 345 are 22.5m intermediate vehicles, with a nine car set clocking in at 204m. class 720s meanwhile come in at 122m for a five vehicle set
The Tories often bring up Labour's links to the unions as somehow being a hidden and secretive thing when Labour are a party that was founded by the union movement to better represent the workers- though the RMT haven't been affiliated for many years.
It wasn't safe, ever, people were regularly killed and more frequently injured.

the dutch have lower per person/per km cycle casualty rates than (eg) the UK because they separate people cycling from the danger to people cycling- very much a "health & safety" culture approach, just...
Honestly, the OP missing this key bit does show how weak the rest of the argument is.
In my "ideal" world yes, all public transit (which domestic ferries very much are) would be nationalised, with a coordinating body to ensure that all modes worked together with seamless ticketing.
It's wildly...
the original plan was to have the bulk of the fleet (working both west anglia and great eastern as 89 5 car 720/5, with 22 10 car 720/1 that would have worked on appropriate diagrams on the great eastern. But for various operational reasons it was later decided to make the 720/1 44 units but...

ooh, not quite. The American ones are Avelia Liberty, the TGV M is Avelia Horizon . Very similar power cars, quite different trailer sets- as well as being single deck, the Liberty trailers are tilting, as compared to the non-ti;ting duplex Horizon trailers.
