I actually travel on this train a fair bit, its not bad but it doesn't seem to have any imposing impression on you afterwards. 91 + MK4! I am an ECML man and out of all the trains I can pick to go on, its gonna have to be a 91. MK4 Mallard refurbish is alot better than any MK3 example I have ridden on, in all aspects. Plus the 43, yeah they are great etc. but on a 225 there is only one loco moving it all from London...

Weeeell, I imagine the Intercity 225 will still be rolling when we are all dead and buried. Sad, but arguably it is the best thing on our railways right now anyway :) ________ Yamaha SR500

I have noticed a couple of times somewhere between Grantham and the Stevange on the ECML my GPS hits 130+mph with a Class 91. I don't know anything about the limiters or anything - thats just what I've seen on more than one occasion on this section! ________ buy vaporizers
