Mark: Your latest T design is bordering on alarmingly tasteful. I was thinking more along the lines of the streamliner bursting out of the "heart" of the T ala the movies "Alien" et.seq.
Glen: I cannot believe the Laird of the Fief intends to wear a T all day long. In addition, I assumed the...
What's wrong with using a beautiful, 30's streamliner graphic? You can dream, can't you? Is it better to use an image of one of those dreadful "modern" German boxes? Remember you will have to look at the images for two weeks.
As an American who has spent a great deal of time studying in London (Inns of Court, School of Law), I can flounce around quite easily, with the exception of Smithfield rhyming slang. But once I get above the Moors, it is an entirely different form of "English", at times quite indecipherable.
I'm more thinking the pinch-nosed, weasley faced, snide British noble man in the Mel Gibson movie...as opposed to the accent of those bravehearts from the Highlands. Am I opening a can of worms here?
If you have all 21 "all aboards" on the shirt, then if some idiot is standing on the platform not responding, the conductor only has to point to the appropriate phrase on the shirt and Dumbo should take the hint and get on board. That should eliminate any Jammu Tawi problems.

I would love to see what all the conductors/guards/jammers say when the train is about to depart from all these various countries. To me, the phrase "ALLLLL ABOOOAAARRRD!!! is one of the most magical in the American-English language.

You can use the...
The "taxi/locker" idea is brilliant. Some of those locker rates seem extortionate. Rather unrealistic to think you will easily be able to get your Romanian and Serbian money exchanged back into anything useable. If you can find an ATM, it will gladly accept your Pounds or Dollars, but even when...
"...getting our hands on bulk quantities of specific coins might be a bit harder."
I have a suggestion...just a suggestion that would probably solve your locker change problem.
In virtually every major international airport there is a small bucket for departing visitors to deposit their...
"we are blaming your lot entirely"
I didn't vote for them.

Kontroll: You can get it on Netflixs if you have that over there.

WAIT!!! OMO means One Man checks the couplings and trucks, oils the fittings, etc.? Who is driving the train whilst he goes into the coaches to punch the tickets? Are you having a laugh?

It is universally accepted that the worst movie ever made was "Plan 9 From Planet X" by Ed Woods. Again I recommend you view "Kontroll"...the Hungarian Metro film. Just don't get on the train driven by Bela bacsi!
Glen
Similar story out here. Two groups fighting over the restoration of a "Wild West" steamer passenger train. The "Authentics" want no up-grades. Other group wanted a few concessions to modcons. Authentics won out so tourists had to open windows because no A/C and fumes, soot and cinders...
Glen: Interesting that the train maniacs should consider the roller coaster "collector" to be weird. Have you considered what the "outside world" must think of this entire site? But then, I personally don't care what they think. Most of them probably think of a train as only a means of conveyance.
Can't some of these stops have an advanced reservation at desired locales? A private room, or even an otherwise empty main room if there are assurances or advanced gratuities to retain the staff for the desired time. If all the workers know cash will be splashed, I should think they would stick...
