    Chiltern qualified

It's 14 days notice you need to give to be unavailable for a Sunday. No night turns although I believe on fri/sat there's a job finishing around 3am. Routes are Marylebone to Birmingham snow hill, Hatton to Stratford upon avon, Banbury to Oxford via Heyford, Marylebone to Oxford, Marylebone...

    Claverdon & Bearley: request stops?

    Southern Rail

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, they fail to live up to their promises, there is zero respect and appreciation for the staff they employ and morale is rock bottom amongst front line staff, this isn't just southern I am talking about I'd say this about every govia operated TOC, but you...

Chiltern group save via high Wycombe only

Won't be an 8 coach train, unless it has a guard on it all the way to Marylebone, DOO is only signed off for a maximum of 7 coaches at present i believe

    DOO and early running trains

So how long do you expect us to dwell at each station, 2 extra mins per stop?? Just in case 1 passenger is running late. I can see the next topic being posted and whinged about 'Slow guard/driver dwelling longer than needed at each stop!!!!!'

Odd Happening at London Bridge 22/01

It wouldn't have made any difference if the conductor signed the route or not, if the driver had signed the route the train could have been made DOO between South Bermondsey and Norwood Junction and then gone as booked, as it happened the driver didn't sign it so back it went

Brighton to London All Zones travel card query

Personally I think you were lucky not to be caught travelling on the wrong operators service. You used a fast Southern service (first stop East Croydon) while using a ticket valid from Brighton on FCC only services. I wouldn't mention this to Southern either!!!!
