Thanks for the update information. At least some commonsense seems to be being used! I suspect some/many passengers would not know where to look to find out that additional stops are being made by other trains to compensate for the cancellations.

Cancellation of many Cardiff - Nottingham trains is not good if you want to park at Worcestershire Parkway (WOP) and then travel by train. Perhaps Cross Country could stop their Bristol to Birmingham trains ( & vice versa) at WOP to make up for the shortfall or would that be too much to ask as...

I also ignored the email about Northerns £1 offer. They marketed it in a previous email as a forthcoming 'surprise'. The only surprise would be if they started running a reliable service. There is no way I would contemplate using a Northern train ( or Avanti or TPE ) for any journey at present...

The 1107 from Euston has been added to the cancelled list. Unless they run as ECS to Liverpool it is quite possible that the 1047, 1347, 1647 and 1747 returns to Euston will be cancelled too.

Last train to London from Liverpool is at 1747 today. All later trains @ 1847, 1947 & 2048 are cancelled ! 1659715666 Its more like several hundred cancelled trains per week with 30 to 40 cancellations per day.

With an average of 30 full cancellations maybe higher per day it is more like a few hundred per WEEK
