personal chice is GBRf with EWS in same place... simply because these 2 appear to be making actual practical investment in current services ad inovative new ones... ie. EWS making investment for line extensions for new contracts (Quinn Glass) and GBRf for investing in additional hired *&'s...

well i dont have my magazines to hand but i know its one of the further west Depots are having DMU facilities added...

do they all come off lease this summer ??? if they do i cant see First ust movin them away... plus if i remember is it laira depot is suposed to be getting DMU facilites built.. perhaps this is just for the 165/166 units but could be a sign for the 180's. anyway... you never know... maybe...

i was in the cab of the Virgin Pendolino at Railfest the other year... but it wasnt in the cab that was open... i got chatting with one of Virgins drivers and an alstom fitter that was with the unit.. and they took me and a mate down to the other end.. (the end far away from the attractions)...
