Hi all,
I am due to attend the Scotrail Conductor Assesment Centre in a couple of weeks. I have received the information pack and am currently working my way through this.
I was wondering if anyone on here who has been through the Assessment Centre in the last year or 2 could give me any...
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Will try and find out more information to figure out if it's worth applying or not.
Short term loss vs long term gain?
Thanks again.
I saw this but was put off by the Trainee salary as it would be quite a drop for me at present. The salary when qualified is great and it's a job I really fancy.
Does the training always take 6 months?
I got the same Daid, I think I messed up the application form.
Don't be too disheartened, 2 years ago I got the rejection email followed by a train pass for the assessment day 4 days later!!
Can't see it happening this time though!
Not sure Donachie, we did the Mechanical Comprehension followed by the Group Bourdon then a short break and the Trainability part. Trainability was listening to the tape (about Gloop!) then answering multiple choice. Cheers.
Abellio/Scotrail recently advertised trainee driver positions for Dumfries closing date 3rd July. Anyone apply for those? Anyone heard back?
I applied for trainee driver position at Dumfries 2 years ago and passed assessment (psychometrics, trainability etc) and was told I'd be put forward...
