As I see it a good case has been made for 6 tracks north from Bedford. The amount of demolishing required seems reasonable.
Missing out the main station would be ludicrous.
Including it may mean reinstatement of a decent northbound...

It should be either 'to their destination' or, even better, the three words should be omitted entirely.
