I think it is definitely worth looking in to though as most countries in Mainland Europe have Day/Weekly/Monthly/Annual tickets valid on all buses in the entire country. I think it is just the privatisation of our buses that would make such a ticket difficult over here.

I guess it would have to work like ENCTS passes with bus operators somehow recording the journeys made so that they can claim back their revenue. Or they could just all agree to accept it without claiming back any revenue but then certain bus operators who get more passengers using them then...

There could even be an annual version for £1000.00 as well.

I think that £10.00 Day Ticket or £40.00 Weekly Ticket or £120.00 Monthly Ticket would be decent fair prices for it.

A nationwide ticket issued and accepted on any local bus service in the UK would be amazing. That would be so useful. Unfortunately though i can't really see that ever happening unless we nationalise all our buses.

Yes that's correct. If you download the app then your first ticket you purchase is 1.00EUR only. You could probably just keep setting up multiple accounts to keep getting the cheaper 1.00EUR tickets every time you travel.

If it is not possible to add extra coaches then i think the busy popular railtours should be standard class only in order to give them more capacity. The first class carriages have a much lower capacity and so carry less people.

Well the boat is certainly expensive then! So a Single on the boat would cost over two times the train fare and a Return on the boat would cost over four times the train fare! Also note that all the prices in my previous three posts are in EUR not GBP! I put the British Pound sign by accident!

If you do choose to do the boat in one direction then a Single ticket for the train from Bratislava to Vienna (or vice versa) is £10.80 total. You can just turn up on the day at the station and buy this.

Both of them are fine. They are both nice decent stations. Although yes Bratislava Hlavna Stanica is larger and has many more facilities than Bratislava Petrzalka does.

I have also found the new DMUs and EMUs built by CRRC (a Chinese company) in Macedonia and the new EMUs built by CAF (the CAF Civity trains) in Montenegro to all be quite nice as well.

I think that an hourly fast express service from London to Edinburgh Waverley calling only at - London then York the Newcastle then Edinburgh Waverley - would definitely be good. I also think that they should extend their Aberdeen service to Inverness and run it a few more times a day.
