The figures for Reading presumably include passengers passing through the station on trains that stop there? It’s not flows through the gate lines.

Reinstating the service to what it was prior to COVID-19 and any passengers using it will be paying a premium fare, so revenue will go up which is what they are desperate for.

It’s a service that I have often thought should be provided but you would need sufficient DMUs to operate it and they are in short supply for existing services.

Totally agree - see also the current two 2tph to Epsom. Richmond to Kingston should be 4tph. A Metro concept for South West London is urgently required.
